ScreamerClauz - Maggot Baby 12" Picture disk is now out! It has 4 horror/splatter speedcore tracks as well as all sorts of dead babies on it! You like dead babies.... don't you? I got the test pressing for "Maggot Baby" on Monday, they sounded good to me (played at a few different volumes/audio settings to be sure) so I gave them to go ahead to sink me further into debt. It's 4 tracks and will be a picture disk. I don't have an offical distributor because no one wants to take full responsibilty for 500 speedcore records with dead babies all over them... that and I'm ugly and stupid and I smell funny. Anyway, they should be in like 2 weeks, then hopefully you guys will bail me out and buy these damn things.

Last time I posted I was in state college, yeah I left there like 2 weeks ago, get with the times man. Anyway, I made a new game called "Ask The Maggot Baby" in which you pick up a baby corpse full of maggots and ask it a question. Then you shake the shit out of it and then it either gives you an answer or says something tottally irrelevant, you never really know. Incase anyone is looking for me I will probably be out in state college for quite a while. I got thrown out of my house and had no where else to go. I think i'm going to keep my cell phone but we'll see how much money i have to spare (it's not looking good). My email and aim name and stuff will still obviously be the same so you'll be able to reach me if you need to. Be prepared for "jimmy sells all his material possesions" sales again haha |

My First Rejection Letter, today I am truly a filmmaker. This comes from Backseat Film Festival (http://www.backseatfilmfestival.com) co-run by former Troma Head Of Production Doug Sakmann (Director of Punk Rock Holocaust, XXXorcist & Re-Penetrator). I hung out with him once in Scranton afer a PRH screening. he was a really cool guy, it's a shame I didn't get in but maybe next year I'll have a better movie or something. Anyway, I thought the letter was pretty funny so I thought i'd share it with you all:

You submitted your film "Behind the Musick" for consideration for the Backseat Film Festival.
Thanks for the interest, and congratulations on finishing your movie. As filmmakers ourselves, we know how hard it is to get a movie made, let alone mail it to strangers in Philadelphia.
We did watch it, but unfortunately we thought it just wasn’t right for the Backseat Film Festival. We can be pretty fickle, so who knows what it was. Maybe we thought it was too long or too pretentious for our tastes. Or maybe that chick in the movie reminded us too much of an ex-girlfriend. Or maybe we just thought the title was stupid. It could have been a lot of things. We always try to sit through all of each submission, but there is even a chance we yanked it out of the VCR halfway through and smashed it against the wall.
But what the hell do we know anyway? We’re just a bunch of drunks from Philly, right? Well if you’re still interested, we invite you to come out to one of our screenings and see for yourself what did get picked for screening. Just print out the attached tickets and come by any official Backseat Film Festival Screening.

Seeing as there is only a few days left in the year, it's time to ressurect my new years resolution post and see what I have a accomplished this year:
"Play Meatsock's show again: Baldy is moving to CA in January so I have to get down to CT and play Meatsock's show with Baldy as a fairwell party type thing. Anyone want to take a road trip to CT with me to be on a late night radio show? Let me know and you can come."
COMPLETED. I made it to Baldy's going away show, it was a fun time in which I humilated myself, my friends and my family. But hey, that's the ScreamerClauz Way
"Put out a CD: I have been making music since 1997 and have yet to release a real CD, just MP3's and promo CD's. Since CD production is relativly cheap and I have a semi "popular" record label, I'm putting out a fucking CD god fucking damn it"
COMPLETED. I release "Zombies Ate Out My Neighbors!" in Feb. Nobody bought it, but I fucking released it damn it!

Never happened :/ but really by my own choice. I did how ever start a film called "ScreamerClauz Vs The Nazis" but it was coming out like shit, one good thing did come out of it, see short films for more info
"Write more scripts: I have 2 first drafts that run about 80 and 90 pages or so, they can still use more work but I think that 2 full length scripts is pretty good, damn it. I have a bunch of other ones planned out and a couple of pages written here and there. I would like to write at least 5 full length and a couple shorts before the year is out, but we'll see how realistic that is. "
I wrote a bunch of scripts on and off, but I don't really have a count cause I didn't finish most of them, but I'm satisfied with what I did.
"Watch more horror movies: I was watching them really hardcore for like 2 straight months in the begging of the year and then another 2 months in the summer time this year but then I just watched them sparatically the rest of the time, so in 2005 I want to watch a bunch more. I watched a bunch, didn't really count them, still need to watch more but I ran out of "good" movies to see.
